Ship Tour -- Is It Worth the Cost??

My wife and I are booked on the 4-19 December NCL Bliss Panama Canal tour, and one of the offerings onboard is the "behind the scenes" tour of the ship.  I'm interested in possibly booking this, but at $129 a head I'm a bit hesitant.  I looked for any threads that specifically rated ship tours (NCL in general and the Bliss in particular), but was not successful, so I'm rolling the dice at possibly invoking the ire of the moderators for trying to start a new threat on an existing topic.  *crosses fingers for luck*😆🤞

What I'd specifically like to know is, for those who have taken the tour, either on the Bliss or another NCL ship, what was your impression?   Was it informative?  Was it a waste of time you could have used to do something else (pool, bar, nap, etc.)?  Was it worth the price?  This is my/our first cruise with NCL, so it will likely be a while before I have the loyalty status to get a free or reduced-price tour, but hopefully that will eventually happen.

Thanks for sharing your experience and input.
