Asking for a Fan?

I will be taking my first MSC cruise in October.  I was wondering can you ask your room Steward for a fan once onboard?  I do this on a couple other cruise lines so I wanted to ask.

Not to be flippant, but you can always ask!  That being said, it is very likely that they will not be able to accommodate your request. We usually bring a small for use on the bedside table.

I always bring a small fan.  I would not risk that they would be able to provide a fan.
