nyyhoneybee Posted July 21, 2023 #1 Share Posted July 21, 2023 We want to cruise early January 2024. 2 adults and 3 kids: 10, 7 & 2. Leaving from Florida. We are eyeing Royal Caribbean Freedom of the Seas & Carnival Sunrise. We've done FoS most recently this past March and had a blast... But thinking maybe try something new? A nursery that we can drop the 2 year old off at so we have some adult time is a must. How is Carnival for that age? And how about for the older kids? Any other ship recommendations? Rare Essiesmom Posted July 21, 2023 #2 Share Posted July 21, 2023 Carnival kids program starts at age 2, and they change diapers. How good the program is depends on whether your child likes it or not. The same goes for the older kids…if they don’t want to go, it’s a no-go. Some parents report their kids can’t wait until camp opens in the morning. It looks like you are not planning on going until schools are back in session after the holidays, which means camps will not be as busy. What was your cabin arrangement of previous cruises? It might be difficult to find cs ins for five…. EM
