Edinburgh transportation question

I believe we tender into Queensferry.

The main choices are:

Train - A short but steep walk to Dalmeny Station. Then a train to Leuchars (this will need you to change trains on the way).  Then a short bus or taxi journey to St Andrews.  Reverse to get back.

Taxi - Best to pre-book.  If you're spending much of the day in St Andrews, then it might be cheaper to get a St Andrews taxi to collect you from South Queensferry as they can ply their trade in the St Andrews area between you arriving and leaving.

Ship's Tour - Probably expensive!

Private tour - there are multiple options; Google is your best friend here.
