rail station in venice to pier

I will be on the grand Princess in June. I will be arriving by train to Venice. HOw far is the port freom there? Is it hard to get too. Thanks

We are in the same predicament- arrive in Venice by train May 22nd then go to straight to the port to board the Golden Princess.

There's two train stops apparently. You want S.Lucia, then take the water bus to S.Basilio which is close to the port..
