Having trouble deciding....Help?

Help, I need trouble deciding which cruise to choose. I have the choice of the Celebration out of Jacksonville, the Fantasy out of Port Canaveral, or the Elation out of Galveston. The Elation is the most expensive not counting airfare. The Fantasy is the cheapest, but it is only a four day cruise and we really wanted a five day cruise. The draw back of the Celebration is that there will be two kids (ages 11 and 15) with us and I don't know about things for them to do. We can only go the week of June 3 because we have to be back for a wedding on June 10.

If anybody could give me your thoughts to help me decide, I would appreciate it. Thanks!:)

I took my kids on the Fantasy for their first cruise last year.......It was a great first cruise....the Fantasy isn't so big that it is overwhelming.....in Freeport my youngest daughter and her dad did the dolphin encounter and loved it....my older and daughter and I did the kayak and snorkel and it was cool..... in Nassau we did the Stingrays and then took a cab to Atlantis and checked out the aquariums ........only one sea day so you can gage whether your kids can handle more than that next time.....

My sister took her boys on the Celebration for their first cruise and the boys actually never really wanted to get off the boat..... they did in Key West to go out with the wedding party they were cruising with but in Nassau they only went off for about an hour and got back on to goof off with their new friends......

Hope this helps

The Elation will be in Florida by June, I think.

The Elation will be cruising from Miami in June doing 7 night cruises.

You are an extraordinary individual. Most people have more trouble than they can handle, and here you are asking for more trouble.:D

All kidding aside I didn't see you mention the Ecstasy which is doing a 5 night sailing, leaving on June 3rd from Galveston. It goes to Cozumel and Progresso.

hi--

i have been on the celebration and it is at the BOTTOM of my list!!:( i would NOT cruise on it again unless nothing better was available....... it shakes and vibrates really BAD!!! it did so on our entire cruise.... the tables shook in the dining room... you could see the drinks moving and the silverware was shaking!!!! very small ship..... not really attractive either.... i would definitely say either the elation or maybe even ecstasy... it is being newly decorated and all right now.. i have never been on fantasy. i am sure it would be better than Celebration too!!;) have you looked at reviews from the different ships to see what people had to say?? might help you a little bit..... give you an idea of what they are like..

Loved the Celebration. Loved it!!

Most ships have some vibration, particularly aft. Did not find the vibrations on the Celebration to be any worse then other ships i have sailed on.

5 days is a great cruise length with young children. Long enough to feel like a vacation, short enough that the kids won't get board. The kids I saw onboard seemed to be having a blast!! The counselors kept them quite busy.
