Corfu port to Paleokastritsa by local bus

Hello everyone!  

 

We are thinking of taking the green bus line from the ship port to Paleokastritsa.  Has anyone done this before?  Any feedback &/or information would be appreciated! 

 

Also, looking for information on boat cave tours once we are there.

 

We will be in Corfu 9am - 7pm this coming September 2023.

Not sure if this will help but I've been looking at diycruiseports.com and it details alot of bus information on Corfu and how to get to several beaches.  I only jotted down Ipsos and Dassia.  Good luck!

Hello,

just curious if you ended up doing the bus DIY trip to that beach. I am going there in August and between bus, taxi, renting a car to get there.

Yes we did!  I watched this YouTube video which was very helpful. 

 

It was very easy to do and there were other passengers on the ship at the bus stop with us.  The gentlemen on the bus who takes your payment was very friendly & helpful with information. All in all it was a very nice day trip to the beach.  It is beautiful there!

 

It is a very pretty beach area, nice restaurants and good shopping although it got quite crowded, so try to get there early.
