Disembarkation Questions -Ruby Colored Glasses

Hi,

We will be disembarking our Ruby Princess 15 day cruise in San Pedro on a Sunday, April 7th 2024.

Our intention is to rent a car, and do a slow drive to Vegas, spanning several days, stopping to see some of the obscure and less visited tourist spots along the trip.

There do not appear to be any car rental agencies open at the port on Sundays, so our intent is to grab a cab or Uber to the Long Beach airport

rental facilities. 

Does anyone have prior experience with Sunday disembarkation in San Pedro, and can anyone offer suggestions that may facilitate or assist us?

We did a car rental out of Long Beach airport in January - taxi over was less than Uber $40 including tip.  Luckily Sunday morning will be an easy traffic morning.
