Make-up on The Mariner

Recommended Posts

Samben,

I don't have an answer for your question. But, I would be very cautious of having an unknown person do your make-up on the day of your wedding. I have seen a couple of scary looking makeup jobs by professionals. They can tend to over-do things. Of course, this is JMHO.

Thanks but if my daughter takes a picture in of what she'd like, then I hope it would be fine. Her girlfriend is a make-up artist but isn't gong on the cruise........icon_frown.gif

We are getting married on the ship before it sails from Port Canaveral. We won't know the time or location until next week. We are having a small wedding -- only 12 guests. So far everything has gone smoothly with Royal Romance, absolutely no complaints from my end. We wrote our own ceremony and vows and selection our own music.

I will fill you in on everything when I get back.

Hi Sandy! Saw you started another topic and had to "stalk" you!!

Yes, they have a make-up artist in port. I had that option, but you have to bring your own make-up for them to use. So you spend approximately 50 dollars to have someone else apply your own make-up.

I'm cheap! I didn't want to do that...so I did my own...which was fine!

You know I have regrets about not getting professional hair, though...

But, they DO have a make-up artist. The salon is open every day.

Sally,

Thanks.........now we wouldn't know how your hair looked because you haven't sent over your pictures yet........LOL

I gave Kim the information, she was going to use her own make-up anyway because she breaks out from so many things she wouldn't want to take the chance of wearing different make-up.......

thanks again,

Sandy

Hi Sandy,

Ooops, finally happened...I see we've been bumped!

Anyway, just wanted to let you know and Cheryl know that I'm okay. Had an ultrasound...little heart was beating...just feel sick as a dog...

Hope you two are great and still doing the limbo!
