JenTX4NYC Posted August 31, 2023 #1 Share Posted August 31, 2023 Help y’all! Having trouble figuring out what we can even do with a 2-year-old. Hoping for a fun day!
merinski Posted September 2, 2023 #2 Share Posted September 2, 2023 I haven't been yet, we go in January. With a 2 yr old from what I have been reading, it might be safest and best to stay at the port. There is a pool and a bird sanctuary, that's what we plan to do... Not sure about “safest”, or what your particular area of concern is, but agree it is probably “easiest” to stay at the port. A 2-year old isn’t going to know, or appreciate, the difference and there is certainly enough to occupy and visually entertain a toddler. It will be easier to return to the ship for naps, food and drink when necessary, without the need for transportation. It can be very hot and the pier is a long walk. There is certainly a pool, but not one we have ever used, as we have always gone to town or out of town beach club. Therefore I am not familiar with the depth, method of entry, or whether swim diapers are allowed. There is no beach, but there are some man-made sandy areas. grantbob Posted September 5, 2023 #4 Share Posted September 5, 2023 We were there in January with our two year old granddaughter. We stayed at the port and did the bird sanctuary and walked around. There's a dolphin experience area you can pay to do, but it's easy to walk over and watch them playing. Theres a gelato shop, several animal sculptures, and other things to see. She loved it.
