Nancy99g Posted September 13, 2023 #1 Share Posted September 13, 2023 We have one day port stop in Aqaba and are hiring a taxi to take us to Petra for the day. Official Petra website seems to indicate entrance fee for one day visit for someone not staying overnight in Jordan is 90 JOD but several blogs seem to indicate entrance is 50 JOD for cruise passengers. I'd appreciate some clarity from someone who has visited Petra on their own recently on a cruise port day.
Monkeygirl2 Posted September 14, 2023 #2 Share Posted September 14, 2023 It does look like it’s 90 JD for tourists not staying in Jordan but why not use the Contact us form on the Visit Petra website and get clarification We took a ships tour to Petra so not sure how much of the cost was entrance fee but we did go into the information office for maps and free wifi. The staff there were very helpful You will have a fabulous day
Wayfairers Posted September 15, 2023 #3 Share Posted September 15, 2023 I have heard there is a difference Petra entrance price if you are spending the night in Jordan versus doing a day trip.
