Port of Kochi to Makino Gardens

We are sailing on the Celebrity Millennium and will be at the Port of Kochi. We really want to see Makino Gardens and wonder if there is an easy way for us to get there for a DIY tour?

Very easy, compliment shuttle from cruise terminal to kochi downtown bus terminal. Purchase a MY-YU Godaisan bus pass 600 yen ( 50% off if show your passport.) the bus will take you to Makino Gardens

Is the complimentary shuttle from cruise terminal different from the $25 pp/rt shuttle that people talk about on these boards? Maybe this is the same shuttle and is free now?

For my 30th September sailing on Celebrity Millennium, Kochi shuttle is compliment.

Forgot to ask my other question- is the MY-YU ticket station near the downtown Kochi terminal- at the info center? I think it is. Thanks
