nonrev Posted October 23, 2023 #1 Share Posted October 23, 2023 Hey just wanted to share our recent experience with parking at Port Canaveral. Guess I did not do enough research as we had parked at the port many times over the years but we were in for a surprise! We drove from the other coast and arrived at 11:30 am. We have never not been able to park in the garage but that was already full. Ah, okay on to a side lot where we pay, arm lifted to let us in and then we circled and circled and no parking! Beginning to stress as we are in a closed lot and NO port employees in sight. This is the point that I don't understand...the parking system does not keep track and realize the lot is full? And why are there no employees to manage this? We are not alone and cars are continuing to pay and be let into the full lot with no visible way to exit. One of the other drivers flags down an employee who raises the arm to let us out and then directs us to an employee parking area by construction supplies. I'm going out of PC again in a few weeks and we might just rent a car and forget the parking mess. BUT THE GOOD THING? It was super easy at debarkation to get from the employee parking lot to the main highway so we enjoyed that.
