Tango99 Posted October 25, 2023 #1 Share Posted October 25, 2023 We’ve done Tortola stop twice and we take our time to disembark. That leads me to my next question….we’ve seen the area at the end of the shopping village in port where the vans and taxis can be found, but by the time we get there they’re already away! We have a 12 hour stop here on New Years Day….7am to 7pm any tips on planning something with a recommended tour company would be welcome please. And/or any resorts for a day that you’d recommend. Something laid back. Hiking, scuba and snorkelling are not in our agenda. any haelp alrea Oates.
blue_water Posted October 25, 2023 #2 Share Posted October 25, 2023 I would try Arnold at A.C.’s Taxi. Great personal tours, and with that much time in port you could easily enjoy some nice beach time at a more secluded spot like Smuggler’s Cove while your fellow passengers are at CGB and Brewers Bay. Depending on how you want to structure your day, you could include a day sail, island tour, and perhaps a nice dinner at Bananakeet with those spectacular views! Contact him now though! You can find reviews on TripAdvisor and helpful BVI sites by googling. if he is already booked try Stoutt’s… http://www.info-res.com/actaxibvi/
Fissues Posted November 25, 2023 #3 Share Posted November 25, 2023 Too bad you can’t spend the night. Foxys at Jost for New Year’s is unbelievable. Bucket list stuff!
