New Year Cruise on Century

This will be our first holiday cruise and I was wondering if New Year's Eve (Formal Night) in the main dining room is anything special. We are trying to decide whether to book the specialty restaurant or eat in the dining room.

Thanks for any information.

I've done Christmas and New Year's about ten times on Celebrity and in my opinion, I think the formal nights have the best menus, so I wouldn't skip them . Do the specialty retaurant on another night for even finer dining.

Nothing special except that formal nights are always special. Big party starts out by the pool around eleven--don't miss it--it's great fun.
