goodvino808 Posted November 23, 2023 #1 Share Posted November 23, 2023 Hello… second time on VV.. we are somewhat not the best sailors on rougher seas. So if you had to be mid ship central sea terrace what room would you want on Dec 10 or 11. Specifically looking at the San Juan to Susan Juan cruise on 1/27/24? Both decks seem pretty wide open what would be your first choice? thank you!

Freelancer3 Posted November 23, 2023 #3 Share Posted November 23, 2023 I like 10 midship. I have stayed there many times- a few in rough waters. There is no noise in the halls, top or bottom.
jon81uk Posted November 23, 2023 #4 Share Posted November 23, 2023 If you are paying for central sea terrace there isn’t really a bad cabin, just avoid deck 8 and 14 as could be noise from above/below. Anywhere 9-13 should be fine.
Freelancer3 Posted November 23, 2023 #5 Share Posted November 23, 2023 The lower the deck, the better if you get seasick.

Rare cantgetin Posted November 23, 2023 #7 Share Posted November 23, 2023 If your concern is motion, the more midship and lower to the water line you can be, the better.
Rare CruisingWalter Posted November 27, 2023 #8 Share Posted November 27, 2023 (edited) If you are concerned about motion, stay on Decks 9 or 10. I prefer starting on Deck 10 so you're one more deck above the lifeboats giving a cleaner view out. But Deck 9 will also work and be as close to the midship elevators as possible. We had some really good 'motion of the ocean' for the first 2 days of our just completed 8 night Eastern Caribbean Antilles on Valiant Lady. It's the most motion I've felt on a Ladyship.
