How crowded do transit buses get in Denali?

 

if you get off a transit bus to do some hiking how likely are you to get two seats on the next transit bus without having to wait for multiple buses.

 

Understand there are a lot of variables, but wanted to know if anybody had any first hand experience. Would be traveling in July.

We hopped off the bus and did some hiking. When done we went back to the road to catch a bus. The first two buses back were full and we were able to catch the third one that had two seats. Waited about 45 minutes total. The buses communicate with each other and make note of where they drop folks off.
