java spot Posted November 26, 2023 #2 Share Posted November 26, 2023 Definitely possible but I don’t know if they allow it. I had the veranda partition loose and clanging all night long on Onward during one of the early voyages keeping the people next door and myself awake all night. They “fixed “ it but was banging again and finally stopped it by stuffing a washcloth in the partition so tight it held it. Long story to say yes it’s possible. fruitmachine Posted November 26, 2023 #3 Share Posted November 26, 2023 On Onward in October, the cabin next to us and the one beyond that had their connecting panel opened in port and closed again when at sea. It can't be fixed open, so I think this is the reason for the closing at sea.

Not usually allowed for safety reasons has they are glass, we once found ours shattered on embarking, they did replace it has soon has I reported it. They can sometimes be a noise problem, have had to pack the hinges to stop rattles.
