Paying for food onboard?

Aside from the one special restaurant that requires reservations, is there any other food on the Legend that you have to pay for? I know which drinks I have to pay for, but is all the other food (pizza, ice cream, sushi?) included in my cruise price?

Not sure about Legend, but some ships have specialty coffee and ice cream spots that are extra if you want something...

Otherwise all the dining room and buffet food, pizza, room service is included in your fare (some people say free - but you just pre pay it;) )

You pay for everything with you S&S card. The only places you use cash while on board is gambling and the gift shops. You can even use the S&S card in the casino now. A "cashless" society, what a concept.

Do you have to use your S&S in the Casino? Are any of the ships' slot machines cashless?

no gift shop will take cash onboard.

casino and bingo are the only two things that you need to have cash-- and both can be had using the sign and sail card if you dont have cash

But if you don't have cash, and you want to play blackjack, for example, they're going to charge an extra 3%, right? I'm assuming they don't charge the 3% if you use your card for slots, is that right?

And if you buy bingo cards, do they just charge you for the price of the bingo cards, or is it like you're using your card to get cash to pay for the bingo cards (in which case, they'd charge the 3%)?

There is a 3% charge for using your S&S in the Casino (at the tables, and at the machines).

There is no surcharge for using your S&S for bingo cards.

I dont think there is the 3% if you use the card in the slot machine. You have to set it up in the machine... and nothing is ever stated about the 3% even on the tutorial on the tv.

This is for the slot machines only. NOT the table games... or getting cash from your card.

It will cost you $3 for 5 wonderful chocolate covered strawberries. And $2 for the biggest, richest piece of chocolate cake you could ever find. Be sure to budget those treats into your vacation plans! ;)
