Suspension bridge closed

We are looking at an excursion “white pass railway & suspension bridge.”  The date we would be in Skagway is September 30. I am reading that the bridge closes the day or two before. Will the train still stop there? I am assuming we just would not be able to cross the bridge, correct? Thanks!

The train does not stop at the suspension bridge. The suspension bridge is a stop on the bus itinerary of a combined bus/train tour. The tour is train one way and bus the other way. It is likely that the suspension bridge stop will be be skipped.
