Sphynxlady Posted December 16, 2023 #1 Share Posted December 16, 2023 The only way I would cancel a cruise would be illness or death which would be covered by insurance. We have always booked refundable plus bought insurance. Prices being what they are we are trying to pare it down. If i book non refundable and get sick or die will insurance cover it even though i booked non refundable? Is there anything else I should consider? Thanks so much for your input. one other question Do any SV cabins have some shade on the balcony. We will be on Eclipse. Thanks again!
Rare prmssk Posted December 16, 2023 #2 Share Posted December 16, 2023 Non-refundable deposits do not prevent you from making a claim through travel insurance for a covered reason. Based on what you say, it doesn’t sound like it makes sense for you to pay more for a refundable deposit.
