On the western med cruise, are the rules the same as in the US, as far as bringing alcohol on board?  I would like to buy some liquors in Palermo are you allowed to bring on the ship?

I am not on the ship, I am going to be on the ship on Friday.  I was just wondering if anyone who has specifically been on a med cruise, if this was allowed

In my experience, no, it is not allowed.

I bought Grappa and carried it on in Genova. It was in a metal shipper, don’t know if that helps.

Usually they take the bottles until the end of the cruise.
