Which ship/itinerary for Europe in late summer 2024?

We are planning a family (all adults) vacation and have been to Lisbon, Genoa, Marseille, and Cadiz, but would gladly return to these locations.  Do you have any opinions of ship and itinerary of the choices below?

 

Opera end of Aug/early Sept vs. Virtuosa early to mid Sept:

Virtuosa itinerary:

I would personally choose the Virtuosa itinerary. First of all its a newer ship with much more to do on it, and secondly the ports in my opinion are better. Funchal is beautiful! Plus gran Canaria, lanzarote etc all lovely. I'd pick these over Genoa and Marseille.
