How long do we have to use cruise comps?

Just got off our first Celebrity cruise (Ascent, Christmas cruise) and received a comp for a verandah room.

How long do we have to use the comp?

The list of cruises to choose from only goes until July, so does that mean we only get 6-7 months?

We aren't exclusive to any cruise line (the loyalty perks aren't good enough to limit ourselves) so we have comps on multiple different lines so we're hoping we don't have to sail on Celebrity every 6 months as we typically only cruise 3-4x/year and don't want them all to be on Celebrity.

Thank you in advance!

We also received a cruise certificate on our 12/10 - 12/17 Ascent cruise. On the bottom of the certificate in small print it states it must be redeemed within 30 days of the issuing cruise end date.

Got it... So that must mean we have to pick from that current list.

Not the end of the world, was just curious!

How did you do in the casino?

We ended up down $1500 but had a lot of fun and we'll get a $4k cruise out of it + around $500 in free drinks (no drink package), so that was a win!

We did okay. Hitting a Grand Jackpot on the first night helped.

We used the certificate to book a cruise on the Ascent in April leaving out of Barcelona for 9 nights. Concierge comp stateroom.

That's awesome!

We didn't have any hand pays... Think the biggest single win was $500 but we were mostly in the $0.88-$2.54/spin range. Toward the end I bet a bit bigger trying to win back what I'd lost but instead just increased my losses.

I feel like the slots are looser the first half of the cruise than toward the end. I could be wrong about that, but it seems like all the big wins we see are in the first few days.
