Lyn3165 Posted January 14 #1 Share Posted January 14 We are on the escape next month. I know what paperwork I need for the first leg of the cruise, but what documents do you need to re-check in?
ChiefMateJRK Posted January 14 #2 Share Posted January 14 You'll still need to check in 21 days out, but I don't think you'll need any documents. You probably should print the second leg eDocs just to have them. Also, if you are changing rooms, it wouldn't hurt to have the official luggage tags for leg two.
AKR2011 Posted January 14 #3 Share Posted January 14 Nothing different, just make sure you check in 21 days prior. You will get a letter in your stateroom explaining what to do. We did a B2B last summer and were able to stay on the ship the entire time and given stickers to wear so the crew knew not to send us to debarkation. There were a couple hours there when we had the ship to ourselves, and that was lovely! I hope we can do another B2B again someday. If you have to switch rooms, ask your steward what to do. We stayed put, so there was nothing needed on our end. We were also able to come and go as we pleased on turnaround day if we wanted.
prov2727 Posted January 15 #4 Share Posted January 15 If you are switching rooms, they will provide priority luggage tags with your old room number and new room number. You attach them to your luggage and leave the luggage in your room. The steward will move them to your new room.
itsnotjustme Posted January 15 #5 Share Posted January 15 When we did a B2B, it was booked as a single reservation. We only checked in once. We were in the same cabin. We were able to treat the turn around day as a regular port day. We also received the stickers, so crew knew we were allowed on the ship, and to be able to reboard without going through check-in. Note that while our room keys kept working to enter our room, they stopped working for things like charging or obtaining FAS drinks. A stop at guest services was needed to straighten that out.
