Getting married in Greece why on a cruise ?

It can be done, sure.  But there are lots of things that can go wrong if any pre-planning is involved. Cruise ships skip ports all the time for various reasons so what happens if you have a church, minister, photographers, etc waiting on you and your ship doesn't dock?  Not to mention the legality of it.  If you live in the U.S., it will not be a legal union.  The better option is to do it before boarding the ship, then have a wonderful cruise with your newly wedded partner:)

get off the ship for a wedding ceremony, simple just the two of us

Is something that maybe can be done?

You would need to look at the legalities of "how to get married in Greece", but are you aware that on some cruiselinbes it is possible to get married onboard? Those which offer "weddings at sea"  can help you plan to your own preferences and budget.

There's also the option of a wedding on the ship - check out the cruise line's website or e-mail them.

I don't know the legalities, but its an option which isn't dependent on the ship making port.
