Euribia noisy cabins?

Hi all,

We're planning to take our toddler on Euribia in a few weeks and have been offered an upgrade. Tempted by the aurea aft facing suites so we have more room for the cotbed, but are worried we could be in deck 8 above the carousel lounge, or deck 14 below the marketplace. Is the noise really that bad??

Any experiences of being in this area of the ship?

We'll take a white noise machine so I'm not too worried about sleep, but I've heard MSC is generally a 'noisy' line anyway due to loud music throughout... Will be a shame if we can't escape it in our room if needed!!

Thanks in advance!!

Many reviewers of the aft aurea suites complaining about noise on deck 9 because a speaker vibrates against the room. But deck 10 and above are apparently not impacted by the sound from the Carousel Lounge.

I can't speak to the noise from the Marketplace Buffet.

Thank you! Where are these reviews? I'll take a proper look.

(sorry if obvious, this is only our second cruise and first time round we completely went with the flow and were v.lucky.. Feeling less like leaving it to luck with a toddler in tow!)

Whilst I haven't been on either of these decks, I know both Euribia an Virtuosa well.   I personally wouldn't want above / below either a theatre or in the case of both these ships, on Deck 14 below the Market place, pool deck etc.

Some of the Aurea rooms have hot tubs, not sure  if the areas you are look at are one of these, but I wouldn't want a toddler in such close proximity of water.
