First Time NCL

A friend of mine is taking their first cruise. It is booked on the Joy. Travelling with 2 teen daughters. Any tips and tricks? What is the current embarkation process in Miami. I've cruised before but not on NCL so thought some of you might have some good suggestions I can pass along.

Introduce your friend to the boards and show them how to use the search function for terms like "teens," "Joy," "embarkation," "excursions," "dining," etc.  Hours of information available.

The Joy is a great ship! We were on her last April and Had a blast. Embarkation at NCL new terminal in Miami is pretty easy. Drop off your luggage, park your car (if driving) and then walk into the terminal. The Joy has several water slides which is nice for the kids as well as us grown adults. Will you be getting the free at sea package?
