Lotus Spa on Sun Princess: Enclave Question

Recommended Posts

If anyone has experience, would love to see pics or have your thoughts.

The Enclave looks great.

1) Does the week pass give you access to the change room?

2) Does the change room include showers?

3) Are there lockers that lock in the change room?

Yes to the first three questions, unsure of the hours but was open until  9pm on the Enchanted

Thanks! Never used it before but our next cruise I think it might be a must.

We haven't been on the Sun yet but very soon... I've gone to the Enclave on several Princess ships and for me it's a must. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the heated loungers. I have back problems and since I can't bring my heating pad, this is a great alternative for me.

Few Patters Ive seen for the Sun have it open until 10pm...I love the Enclave and always get it. Go right before getting ready for dinner almost daily.

Curious if anyone here has sailed on MSC and can compare the Sun Princess Enclave to the MSC Aurea Spas on their newer ships. Maybe no ice room? No salt room? But otherwise a couple differnet type of steam rooms?

How crowded has the Enclave been?

From the videos I've watched, the Sun has a salt room in the Enclave

I've been in the thermal suites for MSC Seaside, Meraviglia, and Seascape.  Seascape was most recently (Jan 2023).

Here were my notes:

Thermal suite is very similar to those on Seaside and Meraviglia. I would give the nod to Meraviglia as it has more comfortable loungers in the relaxation area and in the salt room. Seascape has snow room, bright light and dark sensory wet saunas, soft sauna and Finnish dry saunas, 3 heated tile loungers, cold showers (2 lemon, 1 mint, and 2 pine scents), warm shower (2 orange scent), one walkthrough cold to warm shower, and a thalassotherapy pool.

From the videos I've seen so far for Sun's Enclave it looks like there are more heated tile loungers (eight), but the salt room has bench style seating as opposed to loungers like MSC has.  Both have a thalassotherapy pool, dry sauna, and sensory showers. I only saw one wet sauna in the Sun video.  Don't think I saw a snow room.
