CubanIrish Posted March 25 #1 Share Posted March 25 Hello all, Traveling solo on this crossing, and it'll be my first time on a transatlantic ship. Looking forward to my first transatlantic trip without jet lag. Would love to meet up with others on the same itinerary. Hoping to join other LGBTQ+ folks at dinner, etc. After growing up with horror stories from Mum about her Ireland - US crossing in the 1950s, I am both looking forward to it and slightly dreading the possibility of seasickness. But all in all, delighted to have given myself this gift.😊 Take care, Ray

neeuqdrazil Posted May 8 #3 Share Posted May 8 I won't be aboard, but I've done three solo TAs on QM2 - you're going to love it. I would recommend taking some anti-sea sickness meds, just in case. She's usually quite stable, but the north Atlantic can be unpredictable.
