Explorer 2 - laundry - is the fill a bag service still offered?

Hi All, despite searching the net and various forums for this, I can’t find the info I’m looking for. For anyone who has been on this ship recently, can you confirm pls if they still offer the fill a bag service on the laundry and how much it costs? We are doing a cruise and stay so it would be handy if they were still offering this service. Thanks in advance for those that take the time to respond!

I was on the Explorer 2  2 weeks ago and they still did the laundry bag and I spoke to a few people who had used it, and were pleased with the service. I didn’t use it myself so I don’t know how much it cost.

There are two services available 1 – Regular Service – Pick up at 9am returned the next day by 7pm prices are as above – 2 – Same Day Service – Pick before 9am returned the same day by 7pm, Same day service comes with a 50% surcharge.

Marella also offer a wash and fold service that costs £16.95 per bag, the bag is about the size of a standard supermarket carrier bag and must be able to be closed once filled.

You can see why they got rid of the onboard laundromat.😳 Makes sense to turn your skidders inside out for another days wear.😂😂

They used to always used to do an offer toward the end of the cruise where you could fill the bag and it used to cost around ten pound to wash and dry as many clothes as you could fit in the bag , which i always used to do .. until all  my brand new clothes got shrunk as they use dryers
