Accessible Penthouses on Venture

Recommended Posts

We are sailing on the Venture during the summer and the only penthouses left were the accessible ones on deck 8. I have searched the internet/ YouTube etc and cannot find any info on these cabins regarding layout of the cabin and bathroom. I’m aware they only have a larger shower and no bath tub.

Does anyone have any photos or videos of these type cabins ?  There’s plenty out there on the regular penthouses but I’ve

drawn a blank on anything to do with the accessible ones.
Many thanks .

I am currently on Venture until May and am shooting some footage for my walkabout video on YouTube. I don't think I'll have time to work on the finished version until I get back home but I have visited both versions of the Penthouse, and the others. The accessible version is massive since they left lots of room to manoever. In fact, if you can do without the walk-in closet and tub it would be a nice cabin for someone who loves space. Like the regular Penthouse there's a very long balcony. Instead of walk-in closet, there are hinged door closets like armoires.

I stayed in an accessible penthouse on Pursuit in Antarctica last spring and we were quite pleased, given that we got a very good deal on the upgrade. The only issues are: (a) no bathtub, and the shower is open to the bathroom so it gets drafty; (b) the toilet is not separate from the rest of the bathroom; and (c) no walk-in closet. We found those to be trivial in exchange for all that nice space! In fact, we booked the same suite for the Kimberly next spring! Note, however, that I wouldn't consider paying full Penthouse fare for an accessible suite for the reasons mentioned above.
