FlippieFloppies6 Posted April 6 #1 Share Posted April 6 I just booked a 5 day Caribbean cruise on the Norwegian Breakaway leaving Miami November 19, 2024. I specifically want this solo trip to be a sort of spa getaway at sea. But when I tried to book the 5 day thermal pass it wasn’t allowing me online. I called and was told it was either fully sold out or “not being offered” by an NCL supervisor. I asked if it was just too early to book this but the supervisor on NCL said no, it was one of the previous two possibilities but he didn’t know which one. Has anyone ever heard of this pass fully booking up 227 days before sailing? If this is the case I think I’m going to cancel the cruise because I really had my heart set on spending every day relaxing there. Thanks!
zqvol Posted April 6 #2 Share Posted April 6 For my January 2024 Epic cruise it was not available until about 90 days out. I suggest continue to check online.
FlippieFloppies6 Posted April 6 Author #3 Share Posted April 6 I actually just called back a third time and was told the passes actually WERE available so I booked one. The third person I spoke to said the passes open up 365 days in advance. But at this point, I’ve gotten so many conflicting answers in a 12 hour period I’m not sure what to believe. I guess the moral of the story is to keep calling and talking to different people until you get the answer you want. 🤷♀️

I just keep calling until I get a customer service rep who gives me the answer I want. Glad you got your pass.
medicalma'am Posted April 7 #5 Share Posted April 7 This is a good reason to have an NCL Personal Cruise Consultant that you consistently deal with. You can call that person directly whenever you want to book, change a booking ,or have questions that need answering.

I gave up $400 OBC with another cruise online TA for personal assistance never again….. I do great on my own, and pick the Online TA with the best perks, but this years cruse went with NCL TA, with no expectations just wanted the 25% off coupon for transatlantic. Im happy it worked for you…. Maybe you need to share their name.
calmom1 Posted May 8 #7 Share Posted May 8 For our EPIC greece/italy trip NCL said the thermal passes were all sold out. Do they keep some available to purchase once on board? Thank you

So I would guess they hold some back for that.
