Cashing Travelers Checks on Board the Ship???

Can you cash travelers check on board? If so where at and do they charge a fee for cashing them.

Between charge cards and a bunch of cash, we have not used Trav Checks in years. They are just a pain. We split our money up a litte and use the inroom safes. In fact, these days you do not need much cash, just use plastic.

 

On most ships, they take cash ONLY in the casino.

 

This reminds me of people who say they do not want to carry lots of cash around because they might get robbed. How does a robber know you hae lots of cash?

Casino cashier has no problem cashing them. I did it a bunch of times on the Pride last week.

We also had no problems cashing them at the casino tables on the Legend.
