Jewel question

I'm looking at balcony staterooms on the Jewel and there is a blank space down the middle of the deck plans. In some places there are interior cabins here, but in others I can't tell what it is.

 

Does the Jewel have a promenade like the Mariner and Explorer?

None of the Radiance class ships have a promenade, only the Voyager class. You have not stated what deck you are looking at, but in many cases, those blank spaces are areas used by the crew.

No promenade. I would have to guess that it may be crew passages? I know they have their own stairways and such that passengers usually never see.

I'm looking at decks 7,8 and 9.

The empty spaces on decks 7,8, and 9 are for the crew's supplies: linens, carts, vacuum cleaners, etc. as well as the crews stairwell.

It´s true and in addition there are even elevator banks for crew use only and of course there´s technical equipment in these areas too.

It sounds like it could be noisy. Surely not though because so many of the balcony cabins would have the same problem.
