One way Dubrovnik cable car tickets (down only)

Is it possible to purchase one-way descending cable car tickets at the summit if we didn't go up on the cable car?  On the cable car website there are prices for one way tickets, but it only refers to tickets being sold at the bottom ticket office.

Yes, you can buy one-way tickets in the souvenir shop within the top cablecar station. 🙂

 

Last autumn we took a taxi (negotiate like crazy) from the cruise terminal up a winding little road to the top of Mt Srd. Panoramic photos & a few beers, then the cablecar down

 

When you get to the bottom, turn left out of the station. In a few yards there's no sidewalk, so use the pedestrian crossing to carry on downhill on the Fire Station side. You'll see Buza Gate in front of you. Once inside the walled city, follow your nose  - thro a few alleyways & down a few sets of steps.
