What kind of deals can you get by booking your next cruise on the ship?

Is it a good idea? Worth it?

To the best of my knowledge you can no longer book a cruise while you are onboard. Years ago, I remember that was possible but I have not noticed it on the Conquest two weeks ago or last year on the Glory.

What kind of deals can you get by booking your next cruise on the ship?

If it's possible, no major advantage.....but no disadvantage either. Many if the "perks" you get [cabin credit...2-3 category upgrades] can be gotten at various times following your cruise.

I have never seen Carnival offer you the option of booking a cruise while you are on a cruise. Other lines do. Carnival tries to sell that Vacation Club on certain ships...

When I was on my Fascination cruise last year and they do not do onboard booking anymore.

Just IMHO----CCL should do away with the Vacation Club and use that space as a future bookings office. I bet they would sell a lot of cruises. I booked future cruises onboard on my last RCL and Princess cruises.:)
