Rare SUESEABE Posted May 29 #1 Share Posted May 29 We will be sailing as a family with two staterooms side by side. Will we be able to have the cabin stewards open the balcony partition between us to enjoy our balcony time all together in a larger area?
GalaxyJane Posted May 29 #2 Share Posted May 29 Yes, we did that in February.
Rare Essiesmom Posted May 29 #3 Share Posted May 29 Depends on the cabins. Some shouldn’t be opened because the partition will swing and cover the door to the balcony of one cabin. EM

johnboy036 Posted May 29 #5 Share Posted May 29 I’ve done it before on the Pride and plan to do it this summer on the Legend. You go to guest services together with a member of the other cabin and request it. We did it shortly after boarding and having access to the cabins. If memory serves me right, they only can do so many cabins a day and for the cruise because it requires a special tool. Someone from maintenance came about an hour after we requested it and opened the partition. It took him about 5 minutes to complete. It was wonderful going back and forth to the other cabin and having a “large” balcony.
Old Fart Cruisers Posted May 29 #6 Share Posted May 29 What are the two room numbers? A lot of the balconies open to the room on one side, but not the other side.

Go CCL Navigator. Yes it has all of the Carnival ships and all cabins. Some parts of the site are only available to travel agents, but a lot of the information is available to everyone. https://help.goccl.com/app/answers/detail/a Edited May 30 by Old Fart Cruisers
