We did the San Francisco to Alaska round trip in 2002 on the Harmony, which is no longer in Crystal service. The ship was lovely, the passengers a cut above some other lines in dress, manners and demeanor, on the whole. We were at a table for six with two sister-in-laws who were charming and with whom we are still in touch. A st8 couple; she naturalized German and he a naturalized English fascist, chauvenist pig completed the table. Fortunately, she said nothing, poor thing, and he was so thick he never got the insults that were endlessly directed at him. It really was fun. The food was good but not noticeably better than Celebrity at its best or HAL, at its best. The alternate Japanese restaurant was most elegant and exotic in cuisine, the Italian restaurant so-so. The library-look piano bar was wonderfully elegant and served delicious hors d"oeuvres at cocktail hour. I do recommend this line, though it is definitely more expensive than the more mass market lines.
