Antigua Rum Punch Beach Party NO!!!!!

:( We just returned from the Serenade yesterday and the worst excursion we went on was the Antigua Rum Punch Beach Party. The beach was dirty, the chairs were dirty and worn, the umbrellas smelled like smoke and that is just the beginning! The beach vendors were very rude (not just pushy!). One vendor gave a lady a $10 bill that was conterfit and when she called him on it it went crazy! Yelled at her calling her names (which included "stupid americans"). It took a least 5 minutes for a tour guide to come to her. Other vendors tried to step in to get him to move on and he reached into his bag to pull out something....luckily it was just scissors but he was threatening them with the scissors... he did this twice! We were not sure if it was safer to stay with the group or take a taxi back by ourselves since the area did not seem safe at all. We decided to stay with the group and drink nothing but bottled water so to keep our wits about us in case we had to seek safety. The other problem is the vendors with water "toy" rentals were driving them right up to the shore very fast around people swimming in the ocean! The had gas cans and oil bottles sitting on the beach right in the middle of where our tour had its chairs and umbrellas located and there was lots of people smoking around the gas cans like it was a normal thing to do!!!!! When we got back to the ship we went to customer service as soon as got on board. They were very concerned and assured us they would be talking to the tour company. They refunded our money also. Just wanted you all to be careful with this excursion.:(
