Eating at XCaret...Please help

Recommended Posts

It wasn't really scenic, but my friend & I ate at the restaurant at the entrance. I had a torta, which is a sandwich with chicken, refried beans, avocado and cheese. I thought it was one of the better things I'd eaten my entire trip! I don't know about other restaurants in the park, so I can't say...but I enjoyed that one.

I can't offer anything but second hand information, but I have been talking about Xcaret with a friend of mine at work. We are going in May, and I was getting some advice from her.

She told me that they ate at the restaurant on the beach. She said the view was beatiful, the food was good, but it was a little pricey. I think they had grilled shrimp, skirt steak, things like that. I'm sure there are other options there.

I hope that helps. Like I said, I'm just passing along what I heard, but I trust her judgement.
