Marella Discovery Deck 6 Balcony Cabin

Recommended Posts

Has anyone stayed in one of the refurbished balcony cabins on deck 6

is it worth upgrading to deluxe as only difference I can see is a settee

doesn't seem worth it for just 2 of us

Hi Steve.

Its all about choice, a settee in the cabin is a plus for us as I like to have a nap in the afternoon and the wife likes to sit and read for an hour or so also the room is usually a little bit bigger.

We are just back from discovery and we were in a refurbished room and it was ok.

One thing that I wasn’t keen on is the removal of the mini fridge, the bottled water that was delivered to the room daily was warm when it was left  by the staff with no way of cooling it.

keep well.😉

Will look into a deluxe as currently have a Deck 6 Balcony cabin booked

We were in cabin no 7580 which was a deluxe balcony in a good midship location, no complaints (apart from no fridge) The bed was harder than we were used to but we asked the cabin attendant for a mattress topper which solved that problem.

enjoy your trip.👍🏻

Recently return from cruise. Ordinary  cheapest guaranteed balcony cabin 6022. 4 cabins from stern . Starboard side. No settee just armchair. No Fridge. Cabin fine. Truly. We are frequent travellers and it’s the destinations for us.

We realise, above dining room, Occasionally some noise, Stern cabins did have some vibration . Not a problem for  us.
The cruise did seem value for money.

Yes, in some ports you have to pay a small amount for port shuttles.

Enjoy your trip.
