If you want diet coke for your room can you ask your cabin helper? or do you need to get it via room service (for a fee)?

If you are in a mega rockstar suite, you can ask your roadie (butler). Otherwise, room service or pick it up from a bar and bring it back. If you order anything that has a charge (such as alcohol or premium coffee) via room service, the delivery fee is waived. So you can order a beer and a few diet coke cans and only pay for the beer. Then you can leave the diet coke in your fridge.

When you are "done" with your room service food, do you place it outside your door or leave in room for room helper to remove?

Either is fine. I personally would prefer the hallways not be cluttered with used room service bags/dishes, so I would suggest you keep it in your cabin and your attendant will deal with it next time they service your cabin.

Okay, just for newbie clarification...

The rooms do have a mini-fridge and unlike other cruise lines you can actually use it - it does not come stocked!  The cabin attendant can bring you pitchers of water and/or sparkling water. You can also bring beverages back and keep them cold in the refrigerator.

2. Do they have small pots for holding hot water in the galley for tea?

3. Do they have nice size cups for coffee or tea in the Galley?

4. When you are "done" with your room service food, do you place it outside your door or leave in room for room helper to remove?

Thanks again!!!!

1. You’ll need to order from room service. Get a paid thing such as wine, beer, or barista coffee and you pay for that item but the delivery is free. If you only order the free soda it’s a $10 charge, so a $5 coffee or $7 beer is better deal.

2. only if you pay for the loose leaf tea. Otherwise for teabags you make it in the mug.

3. they are fairly standard size mugs. Not huge but not tiny. It’s about the coffee size I drink at home.

4. Some people leave it out but I prefer to leave in the room and press the needs cleaning button for them to get it. But most of the room service we have has been breakfast.
