Karaoke

Love karaoke. Lately we’ve been on Princess. So much fun with voice of the ocean on Princess. Don’t want to brag, but I’m a two-time winner.  😂 

 

We will be on the Pearl in September. We haven’t been on Norwegian at all in about 10 years. How is karaoke now? Is it different from ship to ship? On the pearl do they have the old worn out books or the new system where you can find almost anything? Is not much fun to do karaoke with you and your wife. Although I’m always always glad to sing her a love song. ❤️🔥🕺

My wife does a lot of karaoke (and gets applause and compliments). Mostly takes place in the Bliss lounge, and usually has a good turn out. Good selection of songs. 

 

Get there early to get a seat and your name on the list.

On Star the Karaoke was in the Whiskey Bar, which wasn't particularly comfortable and seating was limited. Song choices were made using a touch screen and the machine would be closed once there were enough songs reserved for the evening.  

 

There was also Bandaoke one, which was karoke with a live band, and that took place in the Bliss lounge.

Now  that would be fun if they did it with a live band. Anybody see that on Pearl?

On Spirit, it was in the Social Comedy and Night Club, deck 7 forward of the casino.

 

On Jade, it was in the Bliss Ultra Lounge, deck 7 mid-ship.

 

I would say it varies more sailing to sailing.

 

I do not know details of the equipment, but on Jade they had all sorts of stuff I had never heard before.
