kb11 Posted July 21 #1 Share Posted July 21 I'm looking at trying MSC for the first time and trying to figure out which side the smoking section is on so we can avoid booking a balcony on that side. I read several posts on FB but seems to be conflicting information. The picture shows what location we are looking at booking.
Tierun Posted July 21 #2 Share Posted July 21 I loved the Aurea balcony on deck 9. No worries about the smoke as the smoking section is deck 8 aft by the adult pool.
promgirl Posted July 23 #3 Share Posted July 23 (edited) Check out videos of these cabins. The more foreward ones, like 9018 are blocked by the bow of the ship. I know there is definitely a video of cabin 9026. You should consider being a little farther back than 9026 to avoid this. promgirl Posted July 23 #4 Share Posted July 23 The youtube video is called "MSC Seashore room tour", and at the 47 second mark you can see the blocked part.
JAGR Posted July 23 #5 Share Posted July 23 I read your question differently! I thought you were asking which section was smoking on. Obviously there is no smoking on the balconies or inside a cabin, so you should be covered. If you are worried about residual smoke from an open area on another deck, know that any smoking on Seashore would only be on the Starboard side. To be safe, take an even number room.
