Lesley Styles Posted July 22 #1 Share Posted July 22 Hi all, We will be sailing with Azamara again in September and although I’ve sailed with them twice before I’m looking for advice on hairdryers, as I can’t remember😂. Are the supplied ones the annoying ones where you need to keep your finger depressed on a button to make it work? My hair is very thick and takes ages to dry and the type mentioned above drive me to distraction. Need to know whether to take my own or will I have room for an extra pair of shoes?😂

tgg Posted July 22 #5 Share Posted July 22 Here's the "bring an extra pair of shoes" solution: - Bring along a heavy duty rubber band, the kind they use when they package broccoli. (I don't know whether they use these in the UK, but you get the idea. 😁) - Wrap the rubber band around the hair dryer switch until it stays on. - Dry your hair. - Remember to remove the rubber band when you're done. - Enjoy wearing that extra pair of shoes.
shootingstar07 Posted July 23 #6 Share Posted July 23 I just disembarked The Journey on 7/22. The hair dryers are “whimpy”. Fortunately, my hair is very thin, so I didn’t have to hold that button in for long. My daughter brought her own travel dryer and was happy she did.
