Currently have a Brilliant Suite and have the chance to bid on Mega Rockstar - worth it?

I just received an upgrade offer for a Gorgeous suite for 1K or a Posh for 1700.

I know that its just an "offer" but would either of these rooms be worth the upgrade at that price...and is there a huge difference between rockstar and MEGA rockstar?

Of course to be able to win an upgrade from bidding there has to be an empty room for you to move into and then also have to be the highest bidder. Chances are fairly low, but check on the website to see if there are mega suites still available to get an idea of if you could get one.

There is a pretty big difference between rockstar and mega rockstar.
Mega includes all drinks under $25 a glass and two bottles under $95 a day, so basically all inclusive. You get unlimited access to the thermal spa and laundry too. Also you get almost butler service from the more dedicated agent, whereas rockstar is closer to a concierge.
Mega rockstar can order food from any restaurant to be delivered to your room from the agent too.

The Massive suite is sold out. but both the Posh and the Gorgeous still have suites available...so there is a chance hahaha

If you will use a lot of alcohol, it could be worth it.  The suites are amazing, but how much room do you really need for 2 people?  But yes, there is a pretty big difference between rockstar and mega.  With Rockstar, you also qualify for the  service before you cruise, including transportation from the airport, hotel, or home within a certain mileage range in addition to the other goodies mentioned above.  Also, if you are into some of the really expensive alcohol, the bar in the casino serves "half pours" which keeps it under the $25 limit whereas you'd have to pay for a "full pour" at another bar.  As far as I know, only the casino bar does the half pours.

We enjoyed the hell out of our Gorgeous Suite.

The Mega Rock Star treatment is top-notch throughout the ship.

Your agent will ask you things like what you like first thing in the morning, and what time you'd like them delivered, so my wife's salted caramel cappuccino would show up promptly at 7:30am every day.

Your laundry will be taken care of daily as well.

The 2 bottles of wine daily is a nice feature. We "bought" bottles for neighboring tables a few times.

So how does this work?  You just get the bottle yourself and hand it off to someone else?

I'd sneak out and tell our waiter/waitress that I'd like to buy a particular bottle for the folks sitting next to us.

In one case, it was a couple who was upset that their favorite style of wine was not available by the glass, and only by the bottle. In the other cases, I would choose the wine based on what they ordered and our conversation with the couple. (I used to sell wine wholesale and write wine lists many years ago)

Similarly, we both had DBE and there was no way we'd use the 4 coffee/tea per day.  If I saw a crew member in line'd tell the guy at Grounds Club to put the crew person's order on my bracelet.  Crew has a similar location in the crew quarters, but pays full price in guest areas.  They often don't have time to run back to the crew area while on break.  Just a nice little gesture.

Curious to what suite you end up winning?

I decided to just call and upgrade.  I upgraded from a Brilliant to a Gorgeous Suite for 2K.  I figured I would probably bid 1,200 or 1,300 anyway...so what was another 700 to just get what I wanted.
