steam room and sauna

Recommended Posts

Side note - I did try the thermal suite on the Anthem with a cruise-wide pass. Even though they don't have a thermal pool, they do have steam rooms, saunas, waterfall showers, and heated stone loungers. Obviously spa locker rooms as well as a "relaxation" lounge with fruit-infused waters and "spa" music are included with that charge too. I enjoyed it when I went. Fees vary per sailing.

On Oasis class ships and Utopia the showers and locker rooms are a deck below the gym, Easy to head down the stairs and use. No one says anything. Unfortunately, the steam and sauna have a charge.

Deck plans of Icon show gym is on decks 5 & 6 while spa is on decks 14&15.

So, on Icon after a workout to get a steam and sauna, you need to go up 8-10 floors!  Is there a shower on Icon in the gym area or do you need to go up to the spa area sweaty?  This is one of the reasons I loved EoS, the sauna and steam were in the gym area.

If this is the case, the new layout, IMMHO, is poor.
