C&F Posted March 29, 2006 #1 Share Posted March 29, 2006 Has anyone stayed in a cabin right near the elevators? We are booked in B702 on the Crown. I looked at all the deck plans for most of the Grand Class ships and they are all in the same location, so if anyone has stayed in that cabin, please let me know what it's like. I'm worried about noise and people in the halls being able to see in the room when you open the door. We were on the Grand twice and had nice quiet rooms. I am hoping the room will not be a problem Thanks for any help. Happy cruising, F
dancer 2 Posted March 30, 2006 #2 Share Posted March 30, 2006 Not an issue, I stayed in C301 for the 4th voyage of the Sapphire - Great cabin. No problem with noise and I didn't find anyone really looking in when we went out. I warn all my traveling campanions to pick up their "dirty ditties" when they leave the cabin because the attendant will pick them up, fold them and put them on a chair. Not only does this help keep our cabin neater but it embarasses the younger folk into doing a bit of housework before flying off to the fun. C&F Posted March 31, 2006 Author #3 Share Posted March 31, 2006 Thanks for the tip. I won't be as worried now. I am in my 30's and still have to be nudged about picking up after myself, lol.
