Viking dock location in Budapest and Parliament building

We are sailing in March with Viking on the Eastern European Capitols and just went through and picked out our extra and included excursions. Since this will be our second time in Budapest, we decided to get tickets on our own to visit the Hungarian Parliament Building. Can anyone comment on if the distance from where the Viking ships dock in Budapest to the Parliament building is walkable?

The distance is 1km if you’re docked at the chain bridge.

If you need to recharge your batteries for your walk back after the Parliament tour, there is a nice cafe on Parliament Square, the Szamos.
 

 It is easy to spot because the upper floor is a Chocolate Museum.  It’s not fancy-schmancy, more of a locals’ place, but they have nice pastries at decent prices.

We have once docked at the Chain Bridge with Viking.  The time we planned to go to the Parliament independently we docked further up river close to the market.  From there we took a public bus.  You never can tell.
